MN Wolf Helpline

Have you observed a wolf (or what is possibly a wolf) in central or southern Minnesota? We’d love to hear about it! Citizens are encouraged to call the Minnesota Wolf Helpline below to report their sightings of wolves in central or southern Minnesota, or to learn how to get assistance if you’ve encountered a problem.

MN Wolf Helpline: 1-844-346-WOLF (1-844-346-9653)

We are also seeking trailcam photos of wolves in central or southern Minnesota… this data helps us monitor their movement and understand how wolf territory may be changing. Hunters, property owners and farmers are encouraged to submit trailcam photos as well as photos of tracks and scat with a description of where they were taken to: Email Trailcam photos to: iwctrailcams@wolf.org

If you live in northern Minnesota, the Center offers a wolf helpline service to residents near Ely, Tower and Babbitt to assist with problem wolf issues. To reach the wolf helpline call 218-365-4695 ext 134.

Thank you for your assistance in monitoring wolf activity!
