Policy for Use of Images from the International Wolf Center Website

Photographs from our web page can be copied/downloaded for personal use on other Web sites per the following guidelines:

1. You must credit the photographers listed and the International Wolf Center, www.wolf.org.
   
2. If a photographer is not listed, then the photo credit will be the International Wolf Center, www.wolf.org.
   
3. When a photo is used on another Web site, a text link back to the International Wolf Center's site must be established. Our logo should not be used as a link as it is copyrighted from an original oil painting.
   
4. Please be certain to copy the desired image to your own Web server. Use a relative tag such as:
   
   <img src="/yourdirectory/picturename.jpg" width="32" height="33">
   
   DO NOT use an absolute tag that references our site such as:
   
   <img src="http://www.wolf.org/picturename.jpg">
   
   Loading and linking properly will help your page to load more quickly and will help us conserve our server resources.
   
5. If you would like to use a photograph for commercial or non-commercial publication, availability needs to be established and the photographer contacted. In this case, please submit a new email with "Web Photo Use" in the subject field to . Be sure to include the url of the page where the photo is located on the Web site and the photographer's name in your message. We will send you more information as soon as possible.
