International Wolf Center Group Visits

SPECIALTY ACTIVITIES

Specialty Activities
These programs may be chosen in place of a field trip. Additional costs indicated below apply. These prices are subject to change. Allow four hours for these activities unless otherwise noted.

Aerial Radio Telemetry (December through April)
$65 per person
View the Superior National Forest from the air as you track a radio-collared wolf. Wolves are seen from the air on 30-40% of the flights.

Cross-Country Skiing (December through Mid-March)

$22 per person ski rental/pass
Learn the beginning skills of this northern mode of transportation and practice with an interpretive jaunt on local trails.

Dogsledding (Mid-December through March)
Call for a price quote
Learn the basics of dogsledding and experience mushing a team.

Canoeing (June through September)

$15 per person canoe rental
Enjoy a paddle on one of our beautiful lakes as you learn about the cultural and natural history of the area.

Scenic Flights

$30 per person
Experience wolf country from the air during a 20-minute flight in a four-person plane.

Bear Sanctuary Visit (June through September, allow 6-8 hours)
$20 per person
Learn about black bear behavior while observing wild bears.

Pontoon Boat Ride (Mid-May through August)
$25 per person
Enjoy a relaxing interpretive tour of a nearby lake.
