Group Visit Planning Guide

  1. Does my group have to be affiliated with a school?
    • No! We welcome all types of groups! Whether you are an organized club or just of bunch of friends out for the day, we can customize a learning adventure for you.
  2. What are the options available?
    • The Center provides a variety of options for organizing your group visit from a completely self-guided tour to a completely custom, interpreter-guided tour. We also are able to modify programs to fit different age groups and learning abilities. Click on any of the links in the above-left sidebar for a description of packages and see what would suit your group's needs best.
  3. How do I prepare for a group visit?
    • Rent the International Wolf Center's Wolf Loan Box before your visit. The box is full of educational guides, resources and artifacts. Learn more about Wolf Loan Boxes.
    • You may be interested in purchasing educational materials from our Wolf Den Store to prepare for your visit.
    • Know the activities for the day and the times they are scheduled to begin. Some programs involved in your group visit may also be open to the public and will not be able to be delayed. View our current program schedule.
    • Each group visit is unique in activities and procedures, be sure to read all information regarding your adventure prior to arriving. Each group will receive a confirmation letter prior to arrival.
    • Encourage the group to ask questions and visit our web site prior to your visit!
  4. What rules should I explain to my group before our visit?
    • Please walk at all times.
    • Food and beverages are only allowed in designated areas.
    • No flash photography in the presence of taxidermied animals.
    • Stay with your leader.
    • Share and take turns in the exhibits and during programs.
    • Put things away after using them.
    • Have fun!
