are discussed. The wolf is considered vulnerable and the legal

wolf population in Saudi Arabia are discussed, including the resentment
that wolf attacks on domestic animals cause among shepherds. The
meager information which is available on the biology of the Arabian
wolf is reviewed. A map illustrating the currently known distribution
of the wolf in the Arabian Peninsula is presented.
