Historical interaction between wolves and the Indigenous people of the Western Great Lakes Region of North America

Wolves and Indigenous people of North America have a long and eventful history. Indigenous people of the Western Great Lakes Region have a unique connection to the wolf. Through storytelling and historical accounting, participants will gain a deeper insight as to how and why it was necessary to maintain a peaceful co-existence between humans and wolves prior to settlement by Europeans.
