Make your next nature walk an exploration of birds. The public
is invited to the third week of the Nature Nights speaker series
on Monday, July 1, when Bill Tefft, the "Bird Man," will share his
tips and passion for birding. The event, which is free and open
to the public, begins at 7 p.m. at the International Wolf Center
Auditorium.
"You'll discover it's no harder to become a good birder than to
become a good golfer," stated Tefft. Learn what birds to look for,
as well as where to look. Tefft hosts the Saturday night radio show,
"Birding with Bill," on Ely radio station WELY and is a Vermilion
Community College professor. Whether in the classroom or on the
air, he is always excited to share his vast knowledge of birding.
Nature Nights is a speaker series sponsored by the International
Wolf Center, the Dorothy Molter Museum, Listening Point Foundation,
