Nature Night: What it takes to survive in the wild

August 4, 2003

Living in the wild isn't easy. Find out just what it takes for a creature to survive on Monday, August 4th at the Nature Nights speaker series. The Director of the Boundary Waters Wilderness Program Jon Zebrowski will be the hosting this event. The evening begins at 7PM and is held at the International Wolf Center. All Nature Nights presentations are free and open to the public.

Zebrowski says that with a little insight it is not hard to see the miraculous in what we overlook. Using his 20 years of experience in the field, he will help the audience explore that insight. His presentation is in collaboration with the Ely Public Schools and St Paul YMCA Camps Widjiwagan and du Nord.

Nature Nights is a series of speakers held every Monday evening. It is sponsored by the International Wolf Center, North American Bear Center, Listening Point Foundation, Dorothy Molter Museum, Vermilion Community College, U.S. Forest Service and Boundary Waters Wilderness Program in joint partnership with the Boundary Waters Ecology Center. For more information, contact the Center at 218-365-4695, ext. 23.
