Who shot timber wolf in Wisconsin’s Waupaca County? DNR seeks public’s help

WEYAUWEGA – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to determine who shot an adult female timber wolf in Waupaca County.

Timber wolves, also known as gray wolves, are federally-protected animals in Wisconsin. There is no hunting or trapping season on them.
